Skaters of Goggin Ice Center are eligible to compete as a team at ISI (Ice Skating Institute) Figure Skating Events. The Goggin Freestyle team typically competes in 3-4 local competitions per year. Skaters register to compete in many individual and team events at each competition. While a skater earns individual awards, they also earn team points and compete against other clubs for overall trophies.

NEW this year: TEAM COMPULSORIES for FS 1-5!

We need teams of six skaters competing together at a certain ISI Freestyle level. Each team will have one skater perform one element from the given level and all skaters will perform to music in a choreographed program. Practices will be on Tuesday evenings from 6:55-7:40pm. Skaters must be at least at the Purple level in order to participate. The cost is $300 for the season and includes skate rental (if needed), ice time (approx. 21 practices), coaching, two competition entry fees, and costumes. Payment plans are available upon request. NEW this year: Team Goggin's Beginner Synchronized Skating Team!

NEW this year to group lessons is the Goggin Beginner Synchro Team. Synchronized Skating is a team of skaters performing group elements with a focus on unison, formation and synchronization. The fundamentals of synchronized skating will be taught during practice and incorporated into a musical performance. This will be an in-house team with no travel requirements. Practices will be on Saturday afternoon from 12:20-12:50pm. This team is open to ALL levels and ages. The cost to participate is $225 and includes skate rental (if needed), ice time (approx. 18 practices), coaching, and costumes. Payments plans are available upon request.
